A lower monthly amount can come with a different commitment.
What does 3+2 mean?
Coway’s published terms describe a minimum three-year obligation followed by an optional two-year extension. The selected agreement governs the applicable return conditions.
What about 5+0 and 7+0?
These are full-term five- and seven-year obligations in the published product terms. Early termination can result in charges. Availability differs by model.
Compare the whole agreement
Multiply the regular monthly amount by the relevant number of months, then consider promotions, service coverage and any additional charges. This is a starting estimate, not a replacement for the agreement.
Compare obligations before monthly prices
A seven-year plan has more scheduled months than a five-year plan. Multiplying each regular monthly amount by the relevant number of months can help you see the base commitment. Do not compare these totals as identical services until you also check the service period, included work and conditions in each agreement.
Work out a promotion separately
If an offer discounts the first few months, list the promotional payment and number of months, followed by the normal monthly payment for the remaining period you are comparing. Confirm the actual offer in writing; a promotion for one colour, product or obligation is not automatically available for another.
Ask what happens if circumstances change
Before applying, ask how relocation, cancellation, early termination and a missed payment are handled under the exact agreement. Charges or other consequences depend on its terms. Keep a copy of the quotation and agreement so that you can check them later.
